Thread: Jingling sound

Shock absorber rubber missing - the shock rocking back and forth with the cups creating the 'jingling'. Or the cups themselves had it and letting the shock flop around causing an oval hole in the mount. Most everything else squeaks or rattles.

You have just discoverd the secret sensor that every RRC has.

This sensor alerts you to the fact that very soon all notes will disappear from your wallet to be replaced by silver coins , thus the jingling sound.

It was replaced in the 38A , by the "notebook" or more correctly "open wallet" symbol which appeared on the LCD display when something goes wrong.

Because of increasing complexity , this was replaced in the D2 by three actual symbols which Land Rover undertook to give a cheery name by undertaking a viral campaign on the internet and on mainstream media, even developing a movie publicising it.
Thus was born the fable of "The Three Amigos" a cheery title for the impending doom of the wallet.

Check for scraps of tinsel and red cloth stuck to the undercarriage.

Does the RRC have the vibration 'spare engine mount' on the steering damper like a Disco1?
They make a bit of a jingling noise when swinging on their safety rope after you've belted it on a rock.

Otherwise might be a shock absorber rubber as suggested on the eye end. The pin end usually just squeaks IME.

You'll have your answer if,,,, you find reindoor poop in front of your parked car.

Yes Ute, my '95 Classic Vogue SE has one. So far firmly attached etc.
