    Rangy diesel 78-79

    Hi all,
    Does anyone know if they came out with a 6 cylinder diesel around 78-79
    A mate says his neighbour has one and its in not too bad condition.
    He's thinking of buying it if he has to get rid of it(swmbo rules..lol).

    Yes I would think a lot of people would know if they came out with a diesel in about 1978-79!



    And if you want my opinion they didn't! The first Rangy diesel were the VM about a decade later.

    Right on - no rangie diesel until the late 80s for a couple of years then not until early 2000s with the TD6 in the L322.

    O/S P38 had a diesel - not sure of later RRC.
