totally agree with Tombie
my mates are all into jap import turbo style cars (big bling, big h/p) as far as sitting around listening (sometimes fading out with lack of Landrover talk) but I have picked up a couple of things one is that Haltech are apparently high Quality, reliable systems and bonus info is they are Australian Made. I looked up a vid recommended for ya by one of the boys [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w5o3h369PKU&feature=related"]Haltech Racepak Options explained - YouTube[/ame] looks awesome.
Good luck with the mod sounds like a hot one to me

No ,they arent worth it ! Well it all depends what your aiming for ! Changing the Control system cant give any more power, though it might give you better economy.
A set of properly ported heads, inlet manifold, and decent Cam ,wilth a kick to compression ratio , can take your 170HP tp 250HP
I had Haltech F9 from memory put onmy car my TRS when I had the 4.6 put in as they said it would be like chalk and chees compared to the old system.
I did heads, cam and everything else under the sun and economy was brilliant, bottom end torque as well as top end was wicked, even chirped all 4 wheels from stand still.
I had no complaints, only the money at 1st was worrying me but glad i did it and I am sure new owner would have same thoughts.
