    What are these

    On my rangie there are these electrical boxes with 30amp fuses in them, there is 3 all up




    2sets on the drivers side and 1 set on the passenger side, the dizzy is electronic are they to do with that

    They are relays. I have usually seen them used for headlights. How many sets of spotlights are fitted?

    They are aftermarket dual normally closed (NC) fused relays. Each fuse is for an independent relay circuit. Connections to the unit are +ve feed, -ve earth, Switching wire 1 to open power to circuit 1 through fuse 1 and Switching wire 2 to open power to circuit 2 through fuse 2.

    They could be for any circuit on the ranga that has needed a fused relay to control it.
    Id be guessing headlights +/- driving lights??? But youll need to trace the switched power side of each unit to ascertain their purpose.

    Tim (Drivesafe) can supply these units which are a very neat way of running a fused NC relay controlled circuit.

    Cheers guys, in the past the rangie had 4 spots on the front and a set on the back. It only has one set on the back

    I'll guess I will start tracing aand hook up my spotties
