94 SOFT DASH - INTERMITTENTLY NO BRAKES
Hi all, finally got to take the soft dash off road this wkend but everytime we started a decent decline the brake pedal would sink to the floor. pumping the pedal only pumped the fluid out the top of the resivor. after bleeding the fluid it poored back out the cap over night. topped back up and went for drive and t/c and ABS light comes on and stays on on gravel road but not on black top. drove the whole way home with no prob just no good on declines. look forward to hearing some opinions ??
? Thanks

the RRC softdash was only made for a couple of years but, the 3.9 engine and most of the mechanics are very simmilar to the Disco1 and the earlier RRC.
Anyhow, that aside, sorry but I have never heard of brake fluid being forced from the system unless theres a hole somewhere.
Might be as easy as a new cap for the reservoir.
Check around the top of the reservoir cap and neck see if any of it is warped or cracked. Might be worth throwing a new cap on it on the off chance.
If you dont get any better help post in the "technical" section and don't post the fact its a softdash, you may get better responce.
good luck
