    Broken engine mounts

    hi im after two engine mounts suitable for a 78 rangie, busted both at toolangi today. Any help is greatly appreciated. Apparently i can run E type Jag engine mounts, im not sure how reliable that bit of info is.

    yep jag engine mounts .
    about 90mm or so compared to 70mm RR mounts.
    used to have to replace std mounts all the time, changing to jag mounts haven;t had to touch them in years!

    just search ebay for heavy duty engine mounts

    cut the threads down a bit, makes them easier to get in/out.

    thanks for that, i ended up just putting standard ones in, they come with a 2 year warranty so when they break i get new ones for free!

    nice, see how they hold up to the 5L and hard wheeling!

    engine mounts

    V12 jag mounts from Alan at British 4 wheel drives in Hobart. 6234 9444
    A mate of mine uses a Hyster forklift mount, 383 stroker Chev! Dunno what model he forgets but they havent broken in 5 years and 3 motors.
    6 cyl jag mounts are very soft although cheap!
