I have since had a 82 4 door and now my current 89 ..will I ever be rangieless?...I dont think so..I still love the driving position and the lovely V8 sound...however the Td5 is much better on the pocket for fuel...

Yeah, that was you. I was quite impressed that someone spent that much way back then!

I'm sure the TD5 is better for economy but the cost of parts just scares me, compared to a carbied V8.
