Best Fuel Economy!

Speaking of snorkels and better breathing, is there any benefit in putting a spacer under the plenum cover, to lift it and give more clearance to the 2 intake trumpets on each end. ?

Came across a comment from somewhere... naturally, I can't find it now.
Logically, it makes sense, though how much in Real Life is something else again.

- Anyone know if it works, or if there's unwanted side - effects or damage ?

I've heard of the same thing, it was on a british v8 (RP7?) site that I read it. Unless you've got a body lift there's no room though.
If only the iceberg project worked...mmm, that would have been good!

How did this snorkel work? Was it just the usual bit of pipe on the LH windscreen pillar and then a bit of hose straight to the standard air cleaner?
