Was getting 30/100 on lpg too.
Back on petrol now, so it'll be interesting to see what difference there is, if any.

Hard to be economical but true !, remember its hiway and 4 people, 2 adults 2 kids and luggage. Adelaide to flinders ranges.return
From full to the cap adelaide, refill to cap at hawker,( cost a fair bit more there) then refilled to cap at pt. augusta straight drive to adelaide and refill to cap at adelaide. The specs say 90 litre and the light comes on with 13 litres to go and it did stay on just after quorn, which made the last part a bit hairy, and the refill was 83 litres at the woolies at pt.agusta. I drive very carefully, and try to cost and judge the traffic, so no big boot on the pedal if it can be avoided. It is easy to get bad economy and a lot more fun too to hit the loud pedal, but it can be done, 1400 km is a fair run to do a test. it was just mostly hiway driving. We are considering going to marree, lake eyre in a few weeks time, i'll see how it goes if we do it. around town i seem to get about 16ish, but i will see how that goes, its a bit of a challenge now.

Best I can get is 330k's from 83ltrs of LPG (33's, standard diff gears and muddies).
I gave up keeping tally with petrol as the gauge moves too quickly!:p (down side of a 4.6 with Motec I guess)
Recent best in my 01/94 Classic was 11.77km/lt - 8.49lts/100k - 33.5 mpg - cruising at 110. Before disbelief sets in perhaps I should mention that it is fitted with a 300Tdi - I am very glad that I am not paying V8 fuel bills.

I know someone around here locally that makes something similar to a hiclone but is different in the fact it doesn't restrict the airflow in any way but is able to spiral the air. He is also installing them in the exhaust as well but recommends an exhaust size of no bigger than 2" for best performance. He has spent many years perfecting his design. He is claiming some big results as he had his device dyno tested as proof plus he is getting very positive feedback about the fuel savings. Might see if I can get his details if anyone is interested. I'll be getting the Rangie + Corolla done one of these days :)
