Top Tailgate Rubber Bits Go Where?

I noticed these in the parts book, but not actually on my car, so when I saw this pair on eBay I bought them. (There are still some more if anybody's interested.) But I don't know where they go:

Another ebay whilst drinking story? I've done that ended up with a vase that looks like a woman's nether regions

They go on the lower outer corners of the upper tailgate, they are actually bonded to the strip that goes across the bottom of the upper tailgate. The earlier models have a different strip without the flappy bit that sits against the paintwork of the lower tailgate.

    Hi Davo,

What were they listed under in Ebay, local or OS?
Need a set for my 73 resto.

    Cheers,

    Phil

Range Range Classic Upper Tailgate Corner Rubber Seals 391483 + 391482 Genuine | eBay

That's the UK eBay auction. I can't remember what I paid but it was a little silly for two bits of rubber, however they're no longer available otherwise, and I figure that any extra bits might help to keep the dust out.

So, they go on the bottom tailgate? I never would have guessed. I'll have to remember to set them up and post a photo to check before gluing. Thanks!

    Cheers Davo,

I seem to pay silly prices for new old stock all too often, but theres no other choice, as I usually find anything in a wreck is worse condition than the parts I'm taking off mine.

    Cheers,

    Phil

No they go on the bottom of the top tailgate each end just under each catch and are glued on.
I will try and get you a picture to make it clearer later on..
