    90 - 93 or 94 3.9?

I heard someone say that a 90 - 93 3.9 was a better engine than 94 (Softdash) 3.9?? I thought only difference was the drive belts? Thoughts? feelings?

They are all around 20 years old. All 3.9 engines have a somewhat higher risk of slipping liners than 3.5s. The later 3.9's have stretch head bolts which are believed to add to block problems. All can be fixed by using top hat liners and ARP head studs during a reconditioning job.
