20 to 30 seconds running sounds excellent. At least that part of your system is ok. Mine takes 45 to 60 seconds sometimes. Never only 20 from overnight.

I'm pretty sure my ABS is not opertional, as I was able to induce a skid during the last rains... So long ago my memory dims....
But then again, the brakes are impressive and understated in operation. Touching the pedal simply makes the scenery slow down instantly, pushing harder makes it stop, like a PAUSE button on a video....

The PO was at pains to point out the 2 Amigos were caused by dropping off a high kerb the last time he drove it some weeks before sale. The car was, by his comments, unstoppable in loose beach sand.

When the ABS lamp burns out I won't be replacing it ! In the mean time, a couple of bits of insulation tape on the instrument face works well...

Mine is part of the two volume paper manuals. Volume 2 has yearly supplements for those areas which changed from the previous year.

    G`day , there`s a blink code for the ABS diagnostics .

Do a search here and Google maybe , if you do no good or nobody else pipes up get back and i`ll find it , i have it somewhere , i don`t use one but i`m told haynes manual give most details except how the code is actuated .

Go for a drive and jump on the 'STOP' button. If it skids the ABS has turned itself off... Remove the warning lamp (the one you replaced...) and all is well!

Drive so that you don't need ABS, which I suspect will not take kindly to being turned on and off at will. - Unless you switch with the engine/IGN off. Otherwise it will need to be 'reset' with Testbook or whatever gizmo.

I forgot that you wanted to be able to have/disable the ABS, not just turn off the warning lamp...
