Tyre touching chassis or control arm ?????
Just noticed this evening that on a right hand turn I'm hearing a clunky whirring notchy noise and car shakes ever so slightly.....is this a sign my front diff is about to die on me?
Please please please tell me no and it's something far cheaper and easier that's broken/breaking up!

awww thanks mate, really really nice of you
good news is car is fine!
was a HUGE chunck of mud stuck to the wheel with a big rock in it that was hitting. found it on the floor this morning on the ground. drove the car and shes all good now! \
great spot of luck i thought! love it when things go well![]()
15 mins later though things didnt go so well........got done for speeding by the fuzz.....now not allowed to drive in victoria for 6 months.
still very lucky though as im still on my uk licence so no points and i can still drive in NSW![]()
Gee, how fast were you going to get 6mths (on a first offence I assume) ?
Scott
They claim 87 in a 50 zone.
I say claim as the old girl requires a good flogging to get upto that speed but wasn't gonna argue with em.
Was my first offence ever.
Just lucky they can't suspend my licence only ban me from Victorian roads.
That and not wearing a seatbelt a copped me a $810 fine
Still losing my licence for being 37 over is pretty strict! Quite shocked at the price of the fine too! Back home it would be £60 for speeding £30 for seatbelt. 3 points for speeding, none for seatbelt.
Ahhh well when in Rome!
