Firstly, there wasn't a 1994 model Range Rover sold here. It will be either a 1993 (KA) or 1995 (MA).
The KA is the old dash type, the MA is the soft dash.
KA should have 10 spline, MA 24 spline.
Hey all,
Just a question about the Classic diffs. I did the rear diff in my '89 Classic a few weeks ago and managed to score a complete '94 Vogue really cheap. I was under the impression the post '90 Range Rovers came with 24 spline axles. After doing a rear diff swap I had to fix a minor leak on the axle flange and I discovered 10 spline axles. Are all Rangies 10 spline?

Ive got a 94 hard dash in the UK. That is 24 spline.
I'll have to double check the model, but the compliance plate definitely has '94 on it. I think it's the hard dash model though.
My 94 soft dash is 24-spline and the 90 model is 10-spline. I mistakenly thought the change-over was with the 3.9 motor, I sold the 10-spline ARB locker out of my wrecked 88 model without realising it would have gone straight into the 1990.
Hi, I've been wondering if it is possible to get 24 spline to 10 spline axles? This way I could change my diff centre and still run the same hubs. Also if something breaks it will hopefully be the hubs and therefore be easier and cheaper to fix.
That is the theory anyway. Does anyone here know if that is possible?
mines a 94 as well
