    Sorry can't remember the manufacturer.
Thaanks for the input mate, i spoke to the friendly staff at Coughrans here in Toowoomba and apparently i can adapt a commodore third row to fit a range rover just have to have the engineer approve it, i might see where that goes as i know where a seat is for sale right now.

I don't think i need to worry too much about that right now all my kids are under 9 years of age, so hopefully i'll get a few years out of it.

My 2 girls, were 8 and 10 when I fitted the extra row. They fit then, but only for 6 months! And only short, short trips; Knees up under their chins, so would recommend it ONLY for tots, just out of a booster seat!
I'm 6'3" and no way i could even get IN it! I did try though, and I think that's what started my hernia.

    Google the following RTA documents and this should give you the appropriate information;

    RTA Vehicle Inspection Bulletin (V.I.B.)
    1. VIB_02 - 01 Jul 98 - Installation of additional seats in vehicles

    RTA Vehicle Standars Bulletin (V.S.B.)
    2. VSB_05a - Dec 96 - COMMERCIAL MANUFACTURE AND
    INSTALLATION OF ADDITIONAL SEATS

    3. VSB_05b - Jan 04 - CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF
    ADDITIONAL SEATS BY INDIVIDUALS

    These may have been superceded.

Headroom in mine with FRONT facing scrapes in for Category 3, Seats restricted to use by children up to 8 years of age.
Rear facing should suit Category 1 (for very short journeys !!!)

Category 2 seats may only be installed when it can be demonstrated that the head space and leg
space available are only sufficient to accommodate a child up to 12 years of age with a seated
    height of 780 mm.
Category 3 seats may only be installed when it can be demonstrated that the head space and leg
space available are only sufficient to accommodate a child up to 8 years of age with a seated
    height of 700 mm.
