The VC fails (95%) in the locked state, stuffing front drive train & tyres... cure is removal of front prop shaft...
But none of the above applies, as the BW was only used from around 1990 onwards, as far as I know. Think 92/93 was start, but could be wrong.
Same silly idea used in the P38.
