range rover snorkel
hi all after wisdom in fitting a snorkel to a classic. I have the resin type sometimes available second hand and when sat against the p/s where it belongs the screw holes will struggle to get to the windscreen surround. my only thought I can see is to trim the rubber strip down the side of the winscreen frame. it doesn't appear to be more than cosmetic but thought I should check if anyone thats fitted these snorkels can point me in the right direction before attacking reg with a knife.

Screw holes? window surround? do you have it on upside down or on the RH side not the LH side?
The screw holes on my LRA snorkel are on the very outside of the snorkel and they sit against the A pillar , at a point furtherest from the windscreen. Ie they point out to the side at 90degrees to the car, and fit snugly against the A pillar.

screw holes will be at 90degrees as described but snorkel is being held to far forward by the rubber lip to get them into the middle of the steel surround. with a fair bit of force I may be able to push it back enough but that with strain the screws when sitting in place. will ad photos when next near shed
