I think that credit should also go to you in taking care of her during the trip.
Knowing your vehicle, it limitations, its leaks and checking engine oil level during your trip has kept her running, while not over extending her while towing
a heavy trailer as well is pretty good.
As far as the oil you've used the oil in her is now new and at least you won't have to give her another oil change for a while
Like most things they are only as unreliable as the effort you put into looking after them
