Wife swap might be easier. No you can't have mine. Rangerover seats are the most comfortable I've sat in. Especially for long trips.

The seat bases changed between 85 and 88. The drivers seat fits the same, but putting a later seat into the passenger side of an 85 puts it hard up against the door and 3 inches higher.

I put 88 leather seats into my 85 years ago and battled all sorts of methods to make it work. Just recently I bought an 86 LHF seat from the wreckers and had the leather cover swapped onto it.
Problem solved, but at consider cost in time and about $200 in parts/labour.

Hi, if it does't work out with basicat I have unmaked cloth seats in my '89 and would be happy to swap. I'd prob have to pay for a courier both ways though as I'm not likely to be down that way anytime soon.
Does the Vogue have any other leather trim you would want to swap as well to keep it all matching, I cann't remember if the doors are trimmed in leather or cloth on the Vogue.
Are you going to pull the wiring harness for the seats as well, might be able to get them working again.
Mines off the road for a while, so am in no rush.
P.M. me if you are interested.

BTW they are unmarked not unmaked, and Brogue in colour, light brown instead or grey/westminster.
Also had a thought that a trip down there would be a good excuse to take my father to visit relo's on the far south coast, good enough excuse for me. Saves paying couriers.
