    LPG conversion

    Hi guys

Just after a couple of recommendation of who to use for a LPG conversion in Perth (Freo area) on my 94Classic 3.9. What sort of price can I expect to pay preferable scuba tank set up.

    Cheers Bruce

    LPG Conversion

    Hi Bru,

I had a gas conversion (scuba tanks) done for my 1996 Disco V8i by Mews Auto Gas in Bibra Lake.

That was done about 7 years ago although I don't have the Disco any longer we never had any problems and always drove just as well as on fuel (no marked difference in power)

I don't know what current price is for conversion or what rebates are available, but that's on my long wish list for my 81 RRC.

    Cheers

Mews did my 86 when I had it I was happy with their work. They have changed hands since then but I have been back for advice which they gave willingly and it was good advice.

    Bru, how's the AFM/EMS going?

The air flow sensor is working a treat, at this stage I've had no need for the computer. I remember you mentioned plugs and leads you used after your LPG conversion, what sort do you use. Cheers
