Are these Bilstein dampers any good

It's time for new shocks and I have a pair of these laying around. I've always avoided big names for OEM because of the comfort factor but seeing as I have these I figured I'd use them if they were decent - I don't want to lose the magic carpet ride.

The label on them says F4-B46-0243-H0 Typ 36/Typ 08

    Any opinions welcome.

These are classic rr fronts, coil sprung versions only.

Thanks. How's the ride quality? I don't want to turn the car into a bone shaker, roads here are bad.

Bilsteins in my experience only make it feel sportier and will feel every bump in the road. Best thing would be to try them, then you'll at least know you won't want them.
