How does it idle when warm?
I just fixed mine this weekend. It idled okay when I got it, but with a new thermostat started stalling out.
Looks like some previous owner adjusted the base idle to compensate for the thermostat opening early and keeping the engine cold. There were also air leaks through the plenum.
It's as much a case of finding what evil things previous owners have done and then undoing them as anything else.
Mine never ran cold, I run mine with no fan so she sits about half way unless stuck in traffic
I will keep you posted on my findings
The vacuum hose behind my chamber didn't leak but were full of cracks so they were replaced and I tested the vac advanced and all good
One note I thought the fuel pumps only operated when cranking the engine but mine seems to run all the time???

The switch that runs the fuel pump is in your MAF. Ignition on, engine not running, take off the air cleaner assembly and poke the flapper and see if the pump switches on and off. The flap may be sticking. There is a second input to the fuel pump relay from the starting contact on the key switch which is quite separate.
Cool
Starting the car tonight before coming to work it did flood a little but cleared quicker than before so I will check the flap tomorrow when I get home from work
Is there anything I can lube/clean it with or just get some maf cleaner
Adam
maf cleaner is for electronic mafs not the old flapper type. The flap jams on dust, grit or it's got bent by a lpg backfire. Sometimes you can fix a sticking flap by gently levering it away from any sticking spots. There will be scrape marks if it's sticking.
Don't automatically assume its sticking until you've looked, the flap may be stopping slightly open against a bit of gasket for all you know.
