Can't hurt to have a go, from what I worked out it's important to try and seal the rubber, also to try and remove everything between the steel parts of the bush, otherwise is still pinches it.

I have the heights all set out in a nice table. On my other laptop which is 500km away.

Settle, if you have the std rates and heights you can work with your new corner weights to calculate the rates and free heights you need for the lift you want. Or if you find some springs you can calculate the lift you'll get for their rate and free heights.

Clubagreenie that maybe the way some work those with time a plenty I do not have much time due to reno's and managing a business.
So sum like us have something and then try it out with the very little time spare! And with out reading all the charts that people make up ;) and put on the web, Trial and error sometimes is the way for sum. Maybe I am just alone but if I want to find the charts I will use the search function meh.

Christmas was early and my 12,000lb winch arrived MUCH JOY!

And so on to the measurements I will apologize for the pic's late night in my shed under lights yadayada so here they are.
1th is the weighted height.
2nd is a really dodgy shot of the winch
3rd is the weight placed further forward then what it will end up.
4th is un-weighted

Thankyou muchly!

I've remembered I have a set of rears in the garage (2 actually, however I think 1 set is Defender, and very heavy), so I'll try these in the front, then I'm going to make some rear spring seat raisers up, much like the terrafirma ones, and that will be my budget lift :p I don't want to order custom springs now as the mass of the truck will change.
