Zenith Stromberg 175 leaking from brass base

Both carburetters leaking (dripping) fuel from the base of both units, the brass nuts.

What is the cause of the leak? Is it #512311 and #512308 as shown below in the image from the parts cattle dog page?
Or could the float valve needle and seat # AAU1484 be the cause of my grief?

If so, can someone kindly advise of the size of o-ring?

Have looked at my parts book and can see two gaskets/o-rings.
If both are replaced, am I disturbing any settings?

I'm loathe to buy two rebuild kits when otherwise the units seem to be (not that I know) performing well.
Thanks in advance, I hope the image helps identify the issue I'm experiencing.

It is the orings on the main jet and jet holder that are leaking.

If you take out the main jet CAREFULLY measure how many turns and part turns you undo. if you replace it with the same number of turns the mixture should be OK.
However seeing it has got to this stage, the mixtures are probably way out from needle wear anyway and a full tune up is advisable and maybe new needles and main jets .
A full kit would be best for the carbs including needles and seats .

When I got my 101 engine to first run I had the same issue - I took the who brass fitting out then as Philip mentioned noted the position of the lower screw in jet.

There is nothing special about the O rings, indeed the auto shops were closed at the time and got some from a Dollar shop and they are still in and OK 5 years later.

Thanks to both Philip and Garry

    for the prompt response.

Will buy some o-rings to drive the car and order a pair of rebuild kits, to be sure and certain.Needles and seats don't appear to be in rebuild kits. Have diaphragms to hand.
On disassembly I'll check the needles carefully.
Doubtless the carbs will require a rebuild. Sourcing the parts seems to be approaching an art form.

Thanks again, I appreciate the experience and knowledge being shared.

    Cheers,
    Richard
