Fluids & oils
Had an issue with my clutch last week, almost lost the pedal, managed to top the fluid up enough to limp home, so replaced master & slave cylinders as I didn't know which was at fault. Best advice seemed to be put in new and not bugger about with kits etc. I got them in one afternoon as I had a quite hour or two and today I bled the system. OMG. I heard it was a PITA, and it was. I tried reverse bleeding but that didn't go well, seemed it would suck air from the nipple thread or something? Anyway, plan B was to use a fluid extractor run off compressed air (under $70) and after the addition of a a few mainly 4 letter words "Rangella" is back on the road using this method.
While under there rolling around cussing away at the stupid position of the slave cylinder, I noticed a few drips of oil (you don't say?) and it occurred to me that I may do a complete oil change before I take her on a run next weekend. Can someone please advise which oils to use where? I was once told to use engine oil in gearbox & transfer box too.
Is that right and how much do I put in the boxes? fill til full or a set amount for each or what?
84 RRC
3.5 V8 carby
5 speed gearbox (Reverse is near 1st)
No idea about transfer box.
anything else I should do while I'm greasy?
Thanks guys!

The slave cylinder in my 1985 County angles SLIGHTLY down, and won't bleed properly. Jack the front up high, or drive up on a pile of dirt to level the cylinder, and then no worries.
