Crikey Superquag - sounds like you need to trade in on a Perentie in the next auction!
I love the sunroof on my Vogue LSE. Kids use it all the time to get up to the roof rent when they can't be bothered with the ladder. Sure my noggen meets the roof lining, but I'm tall.
My view is that unless you want a period two door get the Vogue LSE. You can whack your bike across the front of the back seat and still fit two kids in. Room to move.
Airbags are a good idea. So is ABS. Sure it is scheisser stop-wise on gravel. That's how I sent my W126 S-Class Benz to heaven. On a concealed hairpin on a dirt road. Sure I was driving 85km/h at the time but who was countingā¦.Engineered like no other car.
Lots can go wrong. Sure. These are old jalopies now.
That's why the Perentie option is always thereā¦. :)

Can only agree re: Vogue LSE. - the only RR built the size it should be...
Would have bought one, except the seller was dreaming $$$. Especially wanted it as the wheelbase was a whopping ONE inch longer - and therefor better ride - than the Paj it was replacing and would have almost matched it in rear seat comfort & legroom..... My teenage kids refuse to travel in the back for that reason.
From a side view they look balanced, or 'normal', unlike the stumpy 100" Vogue, though I can't recall if the rear door windows wind all the way down... Mine only go half-way, due to the wheel arch stopping them.
Still reckon the sun-roof intrudes too much... I'm 5'10" and the lining reminds me if I have'nt brushed my hair....:D:D:D #1 son who is 6' needs to recline it right back before he stops whinging...
Still, looking on the bright side... for a luxury car costing $95K+ new, it was pretty cheap ... - About half the price of a same-year Nissan or Paj. equivalent...
And I'm now very comfortable with the short-arm steering position.
