    1990 Classic LS2 conversion

    Hi,

    My 3.9 EFI is sooking the fuel as is their want, but only producing about 200 BHP.

    I have been given the opportunity to get a running Holden/Chev LS2 out of a written off 2005 R8,

    What do you recon of this as an engine conversion? Any one heard of something similar before?

    Yes a few have been done.

    Try starting here Ls conversion - Google Search

    That is a search of just this forum which can be done via the lower left search box on the bottom of each thread.

    .... Or an appropriate thirst, that matches the abysmal lack of power.

    At 488cc per pot, the 3.9 does'nt stand a chance of either.

    What is the acknowledged limit of the 3.9 and 4.6 power wise?

    Edit:- 'Why bother?' If you want heaps of power -and reliability - put something bigger in there.
