The Disco 2 has a chrome cap on the nuts that don't come off. Believe me, I have tried. They aren't meant to come off. I damaged one and I thought I could change it for one of the caps off the lock nuts.

Hello, might be a dumb question, but how do you get the plastic wheel nut covers off? Its a 1994 soft dash classic, with the 5 spoke alloy wheels, and it seems there are small plastic covers over each nut.
I don't have a hand book, and pretty sure theres no jack or wheel brace in the car.....assuming its meant to be under the sub woofer on the back right.
any help greatly appreciated.

worked it out, thanks joel. Seems you have to almost force a size 27 socket onto the wheel nut/cover things! new wheel nuts, yet another thing on my list.
Well I can tell you from experience with that one nut cover, if you use a 28mm, you bend the cover and then you'll have to near knock on a 27mm to get the wheel nut off.

Those wheel nuts (from my '95 softdash) are covered with a thin chromed tin.... Don't ask my opinion of them !
They're Imperial size, NOT metric. From fading memory, something like 1 1/16" Yes, you can get away with metric, but they will damage the shiny tin.
Edit;- I'd go outside and have a look, but my son has pinched the car and won't let me have it back... Yet.
