    RRC Driving Technique/s?

My original LR training was on Series 1 and 2 many moons ago.
My MY04 D2a is fitted with 2 TruTracs along with all the standard HDC, TC etc, so basically, apart from tyre pressures, I'm basically a steerer in most situations I might get myself into off road.
With my recently aquired bucket list MY95 RRC LSE, I have subsequently been lucky enough to score a pair of TruTracs which are currently being fitted.
As I understand it the standard traction control in the late model RRC is a bit more basic than the D2a and only operates on the back wheels.
Question - am I likely to notice any or much difference between the two vehicles, and do I need to consider any changes to my driving style. I'm more likely to be involved in sand, gravel, rocks etc, but occassionally mud might enter the equation.
The LSE also has a 4HP24 auto trans and TD5, with the D2a having the standard 4HP22 auto and TD5.
    Cheers

I dare say you would notice a difference in the Turning circle!!
Otherwise, I would reckon they would be reasonably similar......

Oh yes Gavin, the Turning Circle... You remember my surprise when I turned your D2 ? - and mine is only the 100" Classic, but that's more like a 100 foot boat than a car.... One can only speculate as to what your LSE is going to be like.

    "Queen Mary" springs to mind...

My old range rover had a detroit locker in the rear and a trutrac up front. My advice is take it easy around corners as you will get torque steer.

With the larger torque convertori think you'll find a noticable difference. Especially in low range.

Just watch the ramp over angle. You wouldn't think 8 inches would make a difference but it does!

Not many lse's left - look after it! !
