Have spoken to a fellow recently who claims to have 00001 ! I will hopefully get to see it first hand to verify but he has had many rangies over the years so have no reason to doubt his claim.
The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

That would be good to follow up.

According to the list, the first 356 - RHD export vehicle went to Lebanon.

Several early 355 vehicles - RHD home market, have turned up in Australia though so anything is possible.

It's interesting that they stamped the 'A' on the chassis. I am in the middle of a complete restoration on a 'B' and the chassis number does not have the suffix stamped.
I checked a friends 'B' and it does not have the suffix stamped either.
Did they only do that for the 'A' chassis?

I just had a look at my Suffix B and it has the suffix stamped on the chassis.

I'll get an even cooler pic tomorrow- half the transfer is disassembled in the back of mine and the Centre Diff is sat in the boot- it's a limited Slip Centre Diff Box!
