Missing RAVE Pages? 87 Classic Fuel Sender
Hi everyone. Quick question, does anyone have the pages in their RAVE manual relating to the fuel gauge sender unit for an 87 Classic Rangey? My copy of the RAVE seems to be missing anything related to the sender unit in my year model. It goes straight to the 1990 model.
The difference being the version covered by my RAVE is a fuel pump / gauge sender all in one. Whereas the sender in Jeremy is mounted on the side of the tank. Part number for the sender is PRC8823.
If anyone can forward me a copy of the pages detailing the removal and installation it would be greatly appreciated.
The reason I'm after these pages is because of the cost of the replacement sender unit. If I'm going to spend big money on it, I wanna make sure I'm doing it right.
Currently the gauge reads 3/4 as full, won't read anywhere between half and 3/4 and is putting reliability of the gauge in question.
I've just rewired the whole truck and have tried a different gauge already, so I'm 99.99% certain this problem is in the sender unit.

You need instructions on how to undo a simple locking ring?

Mainly looking for instructions so I don't screw up anything that's hidden behind the 2 litres of silicon left by the previous owner.
It's so coveted in goop that I literally had no idea where to start. Have no idea what screws, gaskets, locking rings, o-rings etc are in there.
Because the copy of the rave I got, I had no idea.
