    Reattaching connector to rear demister

My son managed to pull off the the metal tab with its blade connector, off the rear demister matrix. It looks to be affixed with some sort of special solder or adhesive. Is there a conductive adhesive I can use to reattach it?

I'm pretty sure supercheap auto sells some silver paint to repair it. I know I have seen some sold in my local Jaycar store and auto one as well.

Most of the stuff out there is simply a silver type paint, but I have seen a 2 part epoxy like mix. I think I saw it at my local Auto One franchise...Sorry I cant be more specific but I can guarantee it's out there!

    If all else fails...Ebay!

Autobarn sells a Permatex product that works well, have used it recently myself. As long as you follow the instructions precisely, it'll work v well.. Bonds in less than a minute. has to be a conductive epoxy, usually infiltrated with silver. Hence the $20 for about 2 and a half milliliters! However, its enough for both tabs + repair of broken lines on the screen too (only need a drop on each tab). Identify where the breaks are before actually opening the product.

I was able to get solder to stick. It's ugly, but it works.
