RRC rear window rubber/seal
The fixed rear window sealls/ruvbber on my Range Rover Classic 1993 have perished on one side the rubber has rotted from the body so water just runs down the glass behind the body panel. This must be a problem for all RRC owners . I have managed to buy a new seal for one window but not for both, does anyone have a good fix , better than tubes of sealer? Surley there must be someone who can vulcanise rubber to make a seal??
Any and all ideas greatly appreciated.
thanks

I ended up using sikaflex:

Yeah I have had that and silicon suggested it just doesnt look great, with so many RRC's out there and all of them must be having this problem I cant beleive someone hasnt found a viable moulding profile and got someone who can vulcanise the rubber into a complete seal, seems though that thiere isnt going to be an immediate answer. People like Dunsfold are going to extraordinary lengths to remanufacture other RRC interior parts eg I discovered they had a brand new cubby box liner, they didnt want to sell it as they were using it as a template to get one remade!!! Why not these rear window seals. Oh well worst case I will have to try and be real neat with the Sikaflex.....
Cheers and Thks
