    FUEL TANK SWAP

    When i go to put the 300tdi into my 87 hi line,i want to put the disco's tank in as well.Anyone done this?

    Mine was fitted with a diesel D2 tank (MY 1999), but its also in an LSE, so not 100% sure either way

    The mounts are different. I fitted a D1 long range tank to my '87 & had to redrill the rear mount.

    The front mount was a different story & I had to make & weld in a new bracket.




    Then you need to be creative with a few curves to line up the fuel filler.
