I don't know, but this is a job that is on my to do very soon list as I am sure this is the major source of my oil leaks.
How much time is involved for a mechanic to R&R the two lines from the bottom of the power steer pump and the hose from the fluid tank on my 3.9 LSE?

They are a bit of a PITA to get to, I would think they would sting you a couple of hours.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
3 hose clips and one pipe/nut type fitting (whatever the proper name is). If you could reach them easily, then 10 minutes. As they are, a couple of hours would be right.
With the radiator removed it is pretty easy.
Thanks guys.
I had the job done and was a bit surprised at the $440 labour charge hence my question.
Hi Grumbles,
At $440 I'll be doing that job myself!
I was wondering though if you could save me a bit of time and see if your invoice lists the part numbers for the replaced hoses?
I started looking and some internet suppliers are only giving LHD and North American spec parts.
I've only got two part numbers listed.
