    Personally, I like the 2 piece tailgate. That one make it look like any other wagon on the market. Might as well be a territory or commodore...

    Well I've just seen two Range Rovers that don't have the "hitch" dent in the lower tailgate by it being dropped on the coupling anyway....

    Seriously, does anyone know who makes (made?) the sensible, one-piece rear hatch ?
    IMHO, the only value in the drop-down lower tailgate is to keep you so far away from the cargo area, that you think it's a decent size. - "I can't reach all the way in, so it must be BIG..."

    Also, one less water leak.
