    Windscreen rubbers seal

    I have to replace the full set in the windscreen of the RRC 1986 model.
    What it is the best way about to go?

    1) Give the job to the windscreen specialists and ask them to supply the new rubber?
    or
    2) get the rubber and then ask the specialist to do the job.?

    If I go to the second option, which will be the best supplier for the rubber?

    Inputs are appreciated.

    I have a spare windscreen rubber but I am in WA... I got mine (bought 3 at the time) from britcar in the UK.

    Scotts old rubber is a supplier of some rubber for a range rover of your vintage as well as others .

    They also sell the filler strip that you may also need to go with the windscreen seal .

    They are in Oakleigh Vic , their site is easily found using Google .

    I like to purchase parts locally and support the Australian business as long as their price it is reasonable.
    I will ask them for a quote.
