Tailgate central locking problem
In my 94 300 Tdi RRC, got a broken piece (A in the photo) that engages in th MXC 1391 plastic part.

There is this part in aluminium?
Anyone with this problem?
How it was solved?
Thank You

The part you indicated is broken comes new only as part of the tailgate handle assembly MWC8656 (from VIN FA351033 onwards) It is linked to the central locking actuator and turns and locks/unlocks the lock barrel when the central locking actuator is operated. Common for one of the metal lugs to break off. You can persevere with manual locking with the key or get the aluminium bit from a wreck and take off and dismantle the handle assembly - pretty easy to do.
The whole handle assembly with new lock barrel, keys and the aluminium bit is available ex UK for around AUD 150 + freight. Rimmer Bros and John Craddock Ltd both have them.
