    Classic '94 EAS faults

P38 driver myself so first time in this thread.... But my Father has a late model classic running airbags and has a few problems with the EAS somewhere.

On the P38 EAS I use my Nanocom Evo 2 to tweak heights and reset faults (only faulted when I made my lift kit) and have used EAS unlock before the nanocom turned up.

After my dads Classic hard faulted and dropped to the bump stops I gave his version of EAS unlock a go but there are so many faults I'm not sure where to start. Obviously there is something causing multiple faults as the P38 (Nanocom) has only every shown height sensor out of range so an easy diagnosis.

Unfortunately I was not there when it faulted but he seemed to think a fuse blew at the time but it was for the dash lights and he seemed to think a rear tail light bulb also went out.

All of those faults above are speculation so wouldn't take that as definitely related.

Thankfully he has also incorporated Shrader valves and I removed the power to the EAS so he can drive round without height control.

Anyone have recommendations where to start with the screenshot attached?

Clicking "faults" in EAS unlock clears the faults in the EAS yes? SO all these faults are current and not carried over from maybe years of events.

    G`day ,

didn`t work the first time so if it does i`ll edit add .

I`d say there`s something wrong with the connection .

The TX column is reading right , FF then 1 as in FF 1 FF 1 FF 1 ECT

The RX column should only be reading repeated FF as in FF FF FF ETC

The Status/idle box should be green and not red as it is , when right .

Thanks. Didn't think to check if the software/cable was a problem.... But makes sense now you mention it.

    G`day ,

only reason i have a bit of an idea is after 8yrs of working fine that i know of , ours has in the last 3 weeks faulted twice .

The first was a front height sensor and the second a rear height sensor which is not bad for 20 year old sensors .
