Quite some time ago, a classisc rangie was advertised and it had basiscally a complete D1 interior fitted. I am not sure if it started life as a Disco or a Rangie, but it looked great. Rangie good looks with a more modern interior.

My mate did a d1 dash to 93rrc by removing the dash metal work and replacing with the complete d1 dash, now he has upgraded that to d2 components to match his td5 swap.

1 Sorry for highjack, but does that mean there is more than one RRC/TD5 in AUS?

2 Don't know if it helps, but I know the PO also put the donor D2 TD5 instrument cluster into my 95 RRC softdash (probably to get the speedo etc electrics to work) and it was a perfect fit.

Yes there are a few although my mates is now disguised as a D1 but is an RRC shell (ute) on a D1 TDI chassis with a TD5 and auto.

Soft dash is basically a D1 so its a lot easier swap.
