    Nice!

Just given mine a touch up, in what was supposed to be the original 81 Oz colour..... Vintage Red.

Didn't touch the roof, maybe this week. Quite surprising how many heads turn when they look sharp.

What sort of paint was used?

Red is an awesome colour. Looks great on a big slab-sided box like the RRC too.

"plain" flat, no perl, no metalic, no "anything" colours.... simple black bumpers and no "enhancements" really make old Rangies stand out. It's a clean simple look. Everyone is used to seeing sky high 4wds with giant mud tyres and bar work on them ...... Which is ridiculous given the majority over them wouldn't even see a gravel road let alone serious offroading

Are you sure it's not just the V8 rumbling past there all turning to look at. I'm sure everyone expects to see an old american muscle car when they look...... only to find a battered of Rangie I've noticed just about every pedestrian looks to see what's make the V8 sound.... almost regardless of age/sex/etc....

    You mean 'original colour'

Of course, sidesteps, bullbar, fat tyres, wheels and a steering wheel upgrade are only byproducts of original component failure or 'previous owners' right ??

speaking of steering wheels... what diameter is that one? does it make the vehicle easier to alight to/from??

I count a 350 mated to a C9 as original, because that is what should have been fitted in the first place, or at least offered as an option.

    cheers, DL
