Bottom Radiator Hose 93 Classic
Developed a minuscule leak in the bottom left corner of the radiator, figured it was a good time to replace all hoses and coolant, purchased hoses and coolant, put them in the shed. Time arrives to start work, check all new hoses and find the mud wasps had built a home in the small hose off the bottom rad hose, cleaned and blew out, found there was no air passage through this, is this normal? what is the purpose of this hose? Checked the forum could only find reference to a brass tube that apparently comes from here lodged in the pump inlet, checked the manual, shows the connection to the expansion tank but no flow.
All help greatly appreciated.

All's well, seems there was a wasp larvae with good mud packing wedged in metal tube at the main hose, hatched, consumed his/her spiders and departed.
Cheers J
