    rrc inlet/carb question

    Hello,

    Im now starting to fix my old 73 rrc and im planning to adjust the carbs with lambdas. Im planning to put one on each exhaust manufold but how is the flow from carbs made in the inlet? Is one carb for left bank and one for right bank or some other way? The car is now so far away that i cannot check this and i need to order parts in advance.

    Each carburettor feeds the two end cylinders on one bank and the two middle cylinders on the other bank. So each bank sensor will see an average mixture from two carbs.

    so one lambda is enough for tuning this If i keep adjusting the carbs the same value.

    When I fit oxygen sensors to RRCs (to self tune LPG) I put one behind the Y junction to see all 8 cylinders. A sensor with a 12V heater element will work just fine here. If you put a sensor up close to one manifold, a fast acting LED readout will actually flicker if you have unbalanced mixtures as it can see every cylinder pulse. Adjust the individual mixtures until the flickering disappears.

    Hello,

    Okay. Im now thinking of putting one lambda to one side before y-junction. Lets see how this is going to work
    Never tried to adjust these carbs before
