Anybody changed the top dash on 2 door RRC? Looks like a difficult job.Are there any instructions available? The ones in the workshop manual are not enough. The one in my Old Red has a few holes in it and I have another in perfect condition. Alternatively I know that its possible to get the holes filled and the grain redone so it looks like new but I can't find out who does it. I remember when picking up my car from AMV in Ringwood that there was a guy doing it on some of their used Rangies. Have spoken to the then AMV owner but he can't remember the name of the bloke who specialised in plastic repairs.

It removes really easily... just whip the instrument console off, remove the dash handle and you'll find the whole thing is loose, it'll be obvious what screws to remove to seperate the lower dash ....
there's some piccies here ... it's a very basic dash though.... you'll probably find almost all the dash bits pre-broken for you
I must be insane
