I am working on a couple of RRC (have 3, hopping to make 2 good ones) once complete the idea is that they will be living on Moreton Island and providing the family with years of fun and adventure.
I am wishing to ask how people have decked out the rear of their cars. For me I am looking to be able to pull up, set up the babyQ BBQ, have a table with prep room, and access to the esky/fridge. and all other items, such as cutlery etc easy to access.
The chairs etc will all go in the roof rack as we never travel very fast. Currently thinking I will transport the BBQ in the car, then set up on the swing away wheel.
It is easier to do the first car now before it goes to the island, then the second (which is already there) can be using the knowledge from the first.

Have a look at some of the Marine BBQ's , you may be able to mount 1 permanently with your spare wheel
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.
