    Thumbs down Saying goodbye...

This is the post I hoped I'd never have to write but the world can be a cruel and unpredictable place and often the dreams and visions we have never quite make it out of the planning phase.

I had originally hoped to get my 1982 4-door Rangie, christened "The Duchess" on arrival, fired up and running under her own power by Easter, and begin a lengthy restoration over a number of years.

The sad fact is that I've had to downsize considerably more than expected after a few personal things going on, and there just isn't enough room at my new place for a car, a van, a motorbike and a Range Rover that doesn't work.

The motorbike and all the furniture that won't fit in my muchly downgraded pad have won their place in the single garage, as I know if the Range Rover goes in there, another year or two will pass and I'll be possibly towing it to another new abode.

I'll post a 'for sale' ad shortly for it.

Thanks fella, I will be. This is only a temporary phase - might offload the Pug to my lady and buy a more recent RR that actually works...

    She sold!

I may have taken a small hit financially, but I'm stoked that the chap who has bought her plans to restore her. He's already got 11 Range Rovers of varying sorts!

Transporter turns up tomorrow. And not a moment too soon, the house settles on Friday and the buyers are coming round for final inspection the day before!
