Converting 93 LSE from Abs to 94 Disco non Abs

So ditching Abs and traction control from the LSE back to a normal brake booster and master from non Abs disco.

Ran into one problem Donor disco only has single brakelines.

    Back to drawing board

    ABS conversion

Don't despair, I've had the same thing done. remove the spacer plate from the RRC calipers, split the D1calipers and insert it . You've now got a caliper with single lines but wide enough to use with the RRC ventilated discs not the solid disc of the D1.
Like me , you're only doing this to a vehicle you use around the farm. Engineers struggle with up people like us reinventing the parts bin shuffle that occurred on the LR production line . When it worked I was stunned that everything was interchangeable . Stupid me , I shouldn't have been.
You're welcome to come and have a look if that helps.

Why would you engineer anything Just take it in for a roadworthy if required.... Don't say "boo" to anyone. They measure the rotor thickness, check the pads and lines and tick it off.

    KISS guys

Ah because of engine and geabox conversion, bodylift, 33's, brake upgrade etc..and so i could get it registered legally so i feel more comfortable when driving around with my family!
Thats why i had it engineered!

Hmm... yeah probably. If it was a disco motor I'd probably try registering it not saying anything. It could be it would slip through given it *is* a land rover engine in a land rover

Sorted, Discovery Calipers with the spacers from the vented RRC to start. Perhaps Defender Calipers if required.
