    Rubber steering coupling

    Hi Guys,

    I noticed the hardy disc (the rubber coupling installed in the lower steering column) has certainly seen better days and is quite perished. Are these available aftermarket I can only find references to replacements shafts @ $100.00 for the complete assembly.

    While you're there, are your steering shaft unis moving freely and smoothly? Had mine sieze around 260k and the whole steering just about locked up.

    the advert gave me the right terminology. I needed to search for "flex coupling"

    Yeah the uni-joints are smooth and free
