I’ll put a magnet on to check always assumed it was ally as there has never been a spec of rust even on screw holes or pop rivet holes after 6 years sitting outside in weather and with salt all over it.

In between removing the bamboo and roots from yard been working away at RRC. Door aperture seals in but think I might have to get new from famous four. Major work has been on front axle one reco swivel hub in new wheel bearings seals etc. Fitting DBA rotors yeah I know about cracking but this car isn’t doing that sort of work. Braided brake lines vented discs Mintex pads. Of course new diff oil. Fitted front seat belts and am fitting rear floor. Once that’s in and brakes done time to borrow some Trade plates and get it on the road to put some load on the motor. Hope to have it on the road Saturday

did you look at re-valving the billies on the front?
Nah paint will have to do[emoji3]. Re the billies will have to get some k’s on the car and see how it goes. Who does this if I needed to re valve? Just a bit worried they might be a bit hard/harsh
