    RRC Brake Proportioning Valve

Has anyone fitted a front/ rear proportioning valve to their Range Rover classic brakes, if so what ratio front to rear did you set it to? I have heard 70/30 is good, and i understand that only comes into effect under heavy braking scenario's, need to fit a proportioning valve to attain a low pressure switch on the willwood hydroboost system.

Before you rush out and purchase an adjustable one, check your state vehicle modification laws for legality.

I know that having a proportioning valve that is adjustable via an in-cabin process was deemed not legal in QLD many years ago. This was at the time in-line with the national code of practice (DOTARS).

Perhaps using the factory pressure limiting valve is all you need? they have a low pressure switch built in. just tap into that ? if you are looking for an electrical activation... If you need a hydraulic activation then perhaps it can be placed downstream / upstream inline with the pressure limiting valve. I am not sure what your hydroboost system requires for an input signal or fluid routing, but I doubt you'd need an adjustable brake bias valve, and to my knowledge they don't have a low pressure switch sender on them.

Its more just a gm proportioning valve under the bonnet that is set and forget, when you say factory pressure limiting valve, what year, hard dash or soft?
